Description

KDF Bone Char Water Filter Fluoride and Chlorine Reduction 10 X 2.5. Replacement filter for generic filter cartridge housings. Must be flushed before initial use by inserting filter into housing and letting water run through the filter for around 1-2 minutes. Recommend to be replaced every 6-12 months depending on water quality and use. *KDF-55 granules are designed to electrochemically reduce and remove soluble heavy metals and chlorine in the water . *Bone Char is especially effective in removing radioactive particles, arsenic, heavy metals, and THM's from the water as well as fluoride. Contains 1 kdf disk equal to 1/2 lb of kdf and made from cattle bone Char carbon.
