Description

New 4.5” x 9.75” refillable filter cartridge with inlet polypropylene sponge and outlet 20 micron filter. Excellent at retaining media fines. The cartridge is white with blue screw on caps. Manufactured from virgin food grade polypropylene by injection molding, the filter cartridge is extremely durable and well made. We have evaluated a number of empty refillable filter cartridges and found this cartridge to provide the best performance. The cap makes a tight seal and does not leak, even under high pressure. Unlike a number of filter cartridges, this cartridge does not plug, even when using powder media. Excellent for use with virtually any media, including polyphosphate, ion exchange resins, carbon, KDF, powders, and more. We use the cartridges for all of our custom filter cartridges. Media packs well in the cartridge, water flow is exceptional through the cartridge with minimal fines generation, and we have experienced no leaks or plugs, even with powder media. BPA, Bis-Phenol, and Phthalate free. You can be confident no toxic substances are leaching into your water.
